If you’ve been wanting a fun two-round, one-day, SoCal Series tournament, and play MA1, FA1, or any pro division, take a ride up the mountain to Sky High/Mountain High North, Sunday, May 21. 

And although the Saturday Am day (except MA1 and FA1) is full, you’ll still be able to get in practice on the 9 holes not played in the tournament each round. Make it a weekend getaway and hit the great local  restaurants like Mexico Lindo and the Evergreen Cafe! And obviously the Wright Brew Co!!!! Registration

This is not part of the So Cal point series but trying something new to move tags around while showing our appreciation for those that work so hard for disc golf.

3rd Annual Bert Cotton Memorial Tournament Presented by Helix and Supported by Innova

This is a 4 event Series. There will be a points winner at the end of the series for each division. You will earn points at each event based on how well you play. 1 point is earned for each player you beat at each event. There will also be a winner at each event. You may have won the Battle but you have to earn the War!

The first event is at Rancho Del Sol Disc Golf Park. It will be 1 round of 27 Holes. PDGA Sanctioned with tee times. Registration open on Disc Golf Scene The other dates are up on the SoCal events page with the locations to be determined. It’s a good time to mark your calendar!

2023 Southern California Disc Golf Club Membership  – Available Online Only.

Join or renew your membership in the Southern California Disc Golf Club.  The 2023 SCDGC membership dues are $30 and include shipping charges. Each paid member will be shipped a custom-stamped member disc, a numbered bag tag and receive a $5 discount at all So Cal Series events. Current members also receive So Cal Series points for year-end awards and invitations to the California Cup Match Play event. 2023 So Cal memberships are only available for purchase online.  Membership discs and tags will be shipped for those who join online.  Please allow up to four weeks for receipt of 2023 member disc and bag tag.   

The Southern California Disc Golf Club is a non-profit organization run by volunteers to promote the sport of disc golf in Southern California. There are no paid board members in the SCDGC. Your membership supports our mission.  SCDGC provides points tracking for all divisions and operates the So Cal Series Championship Tournament with special awards for the top finishers. By joining So Cal and playing in So Cal Series tournaments, you support the organization.

However, you have an additional opportunity to contribute to disc golf in Southern California. Simply choose one tournament, perhaps at your home course, and work with the Tournament Director to make it better. If your home course doesn’t hold a So Cal Series event, consider being the one to bring a tournament there. We all benefit from each and every volunteer effort. If you would like to volunteer with So Cal, contact a board member.
